Description
Nutrient Agar powder for the preparation of medium for fermentation investigations.
- Colour: Blue
To prepare:
- Suspend 28 grams of the medium in one litre of water.
- Heat with frequent agitation/stirring and boil for one minute to completely dissolve the medium.
- Dispense into autoclavable vessels and autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes to sterilise.
- Allow to cool to 45 - 50°C before pouring.
